Living in the Maryland countryside and painting for decades, Valerie is also an outdoors enthusiast. She is an experienced equestrian, a gardener, hiker, skier and bicycler enjoying the areas around the Catoctin Mountains and C & O Canal. Valerie takes many photos for inspiration and enjoys painting in her studio with a mountain view. She also loves her dogs and cats and they are always with her in the studio.

Her lifestyle informs all of the creative work she does, including the Home Design Architecture. Working with homeowners locally to develop home remodeling design and construction plans for improving their lifestyles!
